REQUEST TO ASSIST AFGHAN WOMEN JUDGES

Assistance is required for Afghan women Judges and their families who have fled Afghanistan. Heaney & Partners has donated and we ask our clients and friends to consider providing support in any of the following ways:

•  Reading books (adult and children's ages below).
•  New or used toys (in good working order) and personal items for girls aged 18,16,14,10, 8, 5, 3 and 2.
•  New or used toys (in good working order) for boys aged 8,7,4,2 and 20 months.
•  Laptops or Ipads (new or used).
•  Rental accommodation in the Auckland Region. Some of the families are currently living in hotels in the Auckland CBD.
•  Making a donation for the cost of furnishing homes and other necessary items to the emergency fund for Afghan Women Judges through NZAWJ.  This fund will be managed together with IAWJ, with Justice Susan Glazebrook.
