Nicole graduated from the University of Auckland in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws. She was admitted to the New Zealand Bar in October 2021. 
 
Nicole began her legal journey at YouthLaw Aotearoa, where she conducted legal research and contributed to key projects, including submissions to the Ministry of Education.
 
Following her internship, Nicole worked as an in-house solicitor for a leading insurance company, specialising in Property and Casualty claims. Her role involved assessing indemnity and coverage by interpreting the policy wordings and ensuring compliance with the Fair Insurance Code.
 
Since joining the civil litigation team in May 2023, Nicole has worked on a wide range of cases, including professional liability, negligence, insurance indemnity and employment disputes.
